23andMe offers DNA genetic testing and analysis to help people access, understand and benefit from their genomic data.

US citizens are able to acquire both the Ancestry Personal Genetic Service and health results. International customers do not have access to the health results due to current regulatory restrictions.

How do you get the test done?

Buy the service from their site. A kit will be delivered to you. Send your saliva sample in the receptacle provided.

After the lab processes your saliva sample, you will receive your report link by email.

What will the ancestry report cover?

The report will cover details about who you are, where your DNA comes from and your family story. The details will include Ancestry Composition, Haplogroups, Neanderthal Ancestry & Your DNA Family. You will also have the option to discover and connect with relatives (known and unknown) with the DNA Relatives tool.
