Piano Genie

Google's research team at Magenta has released an AI powered music interface program that simulates a standard 88-key piano via a controller with just 8 buttons!

The design of the device and its neural network brain is inspired by video games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Piano Genie simplifies the musical creation of complex piano harmonies by a neural network program that predicts the next suitable note based on a training / learning database of existing classical music.

This is certainly an application that my family will be very keen to try out!
