Presenting AdAway today, which may also mean Adblocker.

This is an open source android app that allows you to block ad using the hosts file.

• AdAway lets you select your own sources of hosts files
• You can add exceptions to your Whitelist if an app is not working when specific hosts are blocked
• You can define extra hostnames in your own Blacklist. Source

This app needs android 2.1 and above to function, it also requires root access. You can as well read and write access on system partition.
