CRUISE RP-1

Cruise RP-1 is a forerunner of Google's driverless cars. The difference between the two is that cruise rp-1 is an attachment while google driverless is a whole automobile.
They both work in the same manner
With the presence of multiple sensors and cameras which scans immediate areas for routes and possible collisions.
The system is currently only available for newer Audi A4 or S4 models.

The Cruise RP-1 is a “highway auto pilot”. It is originally a driving aid. The ability to take over complex driving is still a work in progress.
It is a one button system which takes control of the vehicle on activation and deactivates when the brake pedal is touched.
