This looks like it could be a really cool adition to your newer Chromebook or Laptop. If you are lucky enough to have a desktop with USB-C it would work on that as well. This is a quick and easy way to give you portable real-estate for your OS desktop. Pricing on Amazon is right around $200, so it won't break the bank either. Since it is powered by the USB-C connection that also transfers the image signal you won't have a bunch of extra cords to deal with. Slimmer laptops do not always have DisplayPort or HDMI ports, so this is a great alternative.

With a viewable size of 15.6" the only real drawback I can see is the maximum resolution of 1366x768. I prefer something a little higher, but for the price and it's portability I guess you can't really complain. Refresh rate is a little low at 60Hz as well so while it might not be great for gaming it should still do the job when you are having those exciting spreadsheet parties!
