iPi Soft-Motion Capture

Doing motion capture for games and videos in the past use to involve very expensive special suits with a bunch of reflectors on them. But thanks to iPi Soft all you need is their software and a Microsoft Kinect camera. I do computer animation and I used a early version of this software for a video I made and the results were truly amazing! The program creates mocap files that can be used in just about any 3D animation program. They have different versions of the software and the prices range from $195.00 to $1,995, The difference being that the higher the price the more cameras it can handle and the more cameras the more accurate the motion capture. But I got very good results using just one camera. By the way you are not limited to Microsoft kinect cameras, you can also use cameras from other manufacturers as well.
