h-aero

H-aero is a combination of helicopter, airplane and balloon. The electric motors are powered exclusively by solar cells and can fly for up to 9 hours. Due to the few parts it is easy and quick to assemble. During development, the focus was on features such as speed and range, flight duration and safety, vertical take-off and landing. The main target markets were reconnaissance, communication and observation for agriculture, film production, geo-mapping, rescue reconnaissance and transport.

Even NASA became aware of this project and considers it suitable to support future planetary reconnaissance missions. At the moment Hybrid-Airplane Technologies GmbH is working on its first passenger flight, because with this new way of flying people should also be transported.
