Acer Predator Helios 500

The characteristics of the equipment already promise to give everything a demanding user needs: with Intel Core i9 processors, 8 GB of RAM and factory overclocking the Predator challenges the most graphic loading games. We have been able to test a few hours in a fully conditioned demo for us to immerse ourselves in video games at the wheel of this computer, I tell you how.
Speaking of computers for gaming is not talking about red and black to do, after having presented a special edition of the little brother of this notebook, the Helios 300, in white and gold. However, the Predator Helios 500 does keep the look dark and we have a black laptop with details in blue and the logo in silver on the lid.

The details are in part of the edges, for example the exits for the ventilation that are placed to the sides, or on some keys of the keyboard as in previous editions (the To, S, D and W and the one of direction). What we can vary is the color of the RGB own lighting that has the keyboard, being able to establish a color of those available for each area.
Also from the central control app that Acer has in the software, Predator Sense, in which we can also go looking at how the computer performance or its temperature is going. We have seen it before, but it is good to comment that it is quite intuitive and that is where we will have to go also to configure the level of overclocking that we want.
It's a big, very, very big laptop. And heavy; the beast of Acer is also at the level of dimensions (428 x 298 x 38.7 millimeters and 4 kilograms of weight) and it is a laptop that is not very portable, at least compared to one of consumption and being closer to others earlier in this regard as the Acer Predator 17 X (weighing half a kilogram less).
Part of the blame that is huge is that we talk about a 17-inch screen laptop, always looking for that immersive experience. Something we will have especially if we opt for the laptop with 4K resolution, whose definition is obviously greater than that of 1080p, without appreciating any apparent change in performance or the increase in temperature experienced when we demand it the most.
I can tell you more if we have the opportunity to make a thorough analysis, but for now it seems a good successor of the Predator lineage. Of course, only for those who look (or do not mind) have a bulky and heavy laptop.
