The Eagle 360 Urban is an amazing future concept of a tire.

So what are the differences between a tire produced today and Goodyear's vision for the future?

Well the first thing that stands out is its spherical shape.

Secondly the tires won't be mechanically attached to the car via a suspension but are going to be suspended from the car by magnetic fields. That means the tires can be rotated in either direction either simultaneously or separately to even out treadwear or drive and park sideways.

Bioskin

The bioskin of the tire is intelligent. The sensors in the bioskin add "dimples" for wet weather and smooth the tread in dry conditions.
