Energica EGO was in fact named the Electric Motorcycle of the Year in 2017.

The advantage of an electric engine

Besides zero emissions Energica EGO's electric engine gives it an advantage over classical internal combustion engines in smoothness of its acceleration. Because it has no gears and clutch there is no drop in speed between shifting gears. It beats a 600 Supersport and BMW S 1000 RR HP4 in a drag race.

Vehicle Control Unit (VCU)

The brain of the Energica EGO is the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) which controls the power management algorithm of the motorcycle from its batteries to inverter, charger and ABS.

Supports Bluetooth

Bleutooth connectivity means that you can connect your motorbike to your smartphone, tablet or home computer and check how much power is left in the batteries and where the nearest charging station is.

Battery charging

You can reharge the batteries of your Energica EGO through the outdoor charging stations using the FastNed fast charging Network or at home.
