Meteor is a speed testing app by OpenSignal for Android OS. It is very lightweight and has very clean and sleek interface. The best part is that the app is Free and provides and ad-free experience unlike some other similar apps. The app provides a very simple interface where the app starts with a prompt for starting a new speed test. It also features a Help Bot within the app whuch guides through the app features when needed and has been named 'Monster', which can be turned on or off in the settings menu of the app. It contributes the speedtest data to OpenSignal. The data contribution is a background data measurement feature which has customizability and can be turned off as well.

The app has the following pros:

• Simple and clean interface.
• Free to use.
• Provides an ad-free experience.
• Lightweigh and does not consume too much resources.
• Saves speed test results for later review.
• Data contribution to devoper can be controlled.
• Intuitive support system where one can report errors.
• Speed test for specific application (chrome, youtube, netflix, etc.) performance

Cons:

• None as far as I'm concerned.
