It’s an educational game that helps you to learn an instrument by scrolling notes or tablature across your screen and using your device’s microphone to pick up the sounds of your playing and score your accuracy.
There are desktop, android and iOS versions available and they operate on a freemium model (you can sign up and access most of the features without paying but there are a few features you need to pay to use).
Currently, the instruments available are:
Users can practice the songs they upload or use the ones provided by the platform. There is also a special feature that allows teachers to set assignments to students within the app and monitor their progress.
Yousician is the updated version of Guitarbots, a similar gamified music learning app that only catered to guitar students.
