termtosvg is a command line application written with Python which records your terminal sessions and converts them into SVG animations.
It needs a python 3.5 or greater on your *nix setup and installable via pypi.
After the installation, whenever you want to record your terminal session, just type termtosvg, do your thing, and CTRL-D when you want to stop the recording.
After that recording file (SVG) will be saved into a directory. You can play the animation with your favorite browser.
There are a couple of example SVG animations on /examples folder in the repository.
It's also an open-source project distributed with BSD-3 Clause "New" or "Revised" license.
