Recollectr is a programm that you can create hot keys to use with markdown. You can define many keys to make the writing much easy for you. Its a free program to use locally. You can also use premium version for $39.99 per year.
With premium version you will have a cloud storage and encryption. As storage 5gb you will get for attachments and 20000 notes.
There are some good features on this program like calling the program or hide with one combination; paste images from clipboard and there is also a language reminder.
