Braille EDGE 40 is a device that assists visually impaired people communicate effectively. It has the normal functions of conventional Braille displays - to read text displaced on a computer or mobile screen. However, this device takes mobility to the next level. It can be detached from the computer and used independently to do the following:

Create and save notes, or read books and documents with the notepad. Use the scheduler to remind you of important dates. Use the alarm to remind you of upcoming appointments, and take advantage of the built-in calculator, stopwatch and countdown timer.
