Block.one has announced today their new social media platform, Voice. Dan Larimer has promised a new social media nick-named Steemit 2.0 a while ago. Not sure if it will be Steemit 2.0, but the promise of a new social platform has been delivered today. Block.one presentation was impressive. There is a link to the keynote on the front page of the Voice website.

I like the idea of Voice and design of the app looks amazing too. Users will be earning Voice tokens on the platform. What is interesting is users can reward authors while pushing their comment higher by spending Voice tokens and when some other users push their comment above yours you get your Voice tokens back and some. Interesting. Dan promised there will be no bots and trolls on the platform.

We think social networking is due for a major rework. From the bot mobs to the data tracking, to the shady algorithms behind our feeds, social media has not been a good friend to us. source
