MND/ALS is a vicious disease that eventually strips people of the ability to speak or move, though it does not affect a person's cognitive abilities. People with MND/ALS suffer from locked-in syndrome, a rare neurological disorder in which there is complete paralysis of all voluntary muscles except for the ones that control the movements of the eyes, making communication possible only through eye movements or blinking. source

This is such an amazing device to help people with health issues that Rob them of their voice to effectively communicate. I hope to see more of tailored innovations for some specific disabilities.
