This product's website uses the word "hologram" and I know these aren't really holograms in the physics sense. This looks like a cool product hunt so let's just go with it.

These "holograms" (a.k.a. volumetric videos) are a proprietary technology based on multiple cameras and processing software to create 3D digital videos of people that can be used in augmented, virtual or mixed realities. This allows real people, not created virtual characters, to be in VR or AR mobile apps.
