Follow Me Robot Kit

This is one of the easiest robot kits I could find for absolute beginner level. No soldering is needed but simple tools are required for assembling the robot.

After the robot is put together it will move in the direction of sound from clapping hands. This helps teach young kids the basics of electronics, mechanics and robotics.

I usually prefer to hunt open source products but since it's near Christmas I'll hunt a few science kits. Open source is great but it also helps to develop the skills to take advantage of open source projects.
