After seeing an SDR transceiver being hunted by someone yesterday and another person commenting like it was an AM/FM radio I think it is time I hunted for an on-line amateur radio school for everyone who needs it.
HamClass.net is an on-line multimedia class that teaches everything a user needs to know to pass the amateur radio exam to get an FCC license. Due to legal restrictions the exam itself can't be taken on-line but the official ARRL website lists local exam sessions.
The free demo lesson on the site is the first lesson for the Technician Class license.
