HamShield is a shield you can use with an Arduino microcontroller board to build projects involving UHF/VHF on 70 cm, 1.25 m and 2 m bands. As an amateur radio operator (callsign W3DTV) I like this open source design. If you get this shield but don't have a license make sure you only receive signals or use a dummy antenna. (I don't want to report anybody to the FCC). If you get an amateur radio license though you can have a lot more fun with this.
