Mobbles

Before there was Pokémon GO there were already location-based games where monsters could be captured with smartphones. I can find internet articles going all the way back to early 2012 about this Mobbles game. Mobbles is similar to Pokémon GO where there are creatures all around the globe that users can capture with their smartphones to battle. What I like about this is there are alternatives to the heavily commercialized Pokémon GO game out there.
