Nixie Clock Arduino Shield

An arduino shield for nixie tube displays

CHECK IT OUT

Tired of always using LEDs or LCDs for your arduino project displays? Do you just want a unique look for your project? This arduino shield is designed to add a nostalgic aesthetic to a DIY project. The kickstarter description emphasizes the use of the nixie tubes for a clock project but rewriting the sketch and adding another sensor can allow other uses for the nixie tubes such as displaying air pressure or humidity.

Based on the Kickstarter page video it looks like the nixie tube on the right indicates the hour and the tube on the left indicates minutes. Each nixie tube appears to have 12 large exterior segments for hours and 60 interior segments for minutes.
