SpeedCrunch is an open source user interface in the form of a scientific calculator. With 80+ functions for mathematical calculations and a built-in library of common formulas this software allows the user to quickly make calculations with 50 digit precision.
I like things that are open source and this is no exception. I also like the way syntax errors can be customized to be highlighted in bright color for easier correction.
