What is Matlab?
MATLAB is a platform that is designed by the engineers and scientist mainly for the purpose of programming and is a high level language. Matlab can be used for intensive mathematical computations and also for scientific computing. This software is also useful because it manages file inputs and outputs better than the other softwares.
Matlab is mostly used by the scientist, more on engineers and academy. This is also very useful for signal processing and even in communications, image and video processing, range of applications. Not just that, but Matlab is useful in test and measurement, this is also suitable in control systems and computational finance.

i've been a matlab user for almost 3 years, this is a great tool for economist and engineers. I made a lot of signal processing and data analysis with this tools.
Ths issue is that this app wasn't free, and the subscription is so damn expensive, and I would say this is the only programming language that need to be paid to use.
Therefore, the only use case for me is for school or academic purposes, otherwise, I use python for most of the things I needed from matlab.
