CHECK IT OUT

The best steemhunt finding in 2018?

Here it is: Your own Mars Rover!

Fresh from Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California the engineers of JPL went to work designing a model that could be assembled from commercial off-the-self (COTS) parts for as little as $2,500.

The JPL Open Source Rover is a scaled down version of Curiosity (the original Mars Rover), from its 6-wheel steering all the way to its Rocker-Bogie suspension.

The design of the JPL Open Source Rover is published under an open source license on Github so that you can download baseline instructions and test plans for building your own Open Source Rover.
