The Aware Study

” Aware is a collaboration between the VA's National Center for PTSD and Overlap. The Aware Study is a 28-day study focused on mood and related variables”

Everyone can join that lives in the US (but you need to be over 18 years old)

This app works on both platforms (iOs and Android), I mean you just need a smartphone to use it.

It is a study app which helps to understand the relationship between mood and PTSD.

Most of the people gonna ask if I participate in this study by using the app, will I get paid?
-You will not, but contributing to science and helping that people are priceless.

This app will not ask you any personal identity information(You and your information are safe) but the application will ask to share your GPS data do not worry about that. It is part of the research. Most people that suffering PTSD stuck their home week after week. The app will not see your location specifically (district/city etc). They able to see “how many times you change your location/go outside”.

“ You don't need to be diagnosed with a mental condition to use this app”

I think we live the age of the technology, Unlike the traditional research, this app has good sides,

-They can reach more people than as it was before
-It takes less time (for participation)
-Do not need to go to Lab
