Bioresorbable Electronic Med

Note: The Univerity researchers did not give their device a specific name so I called it with what I think is their closest description: Bioresorbable electronic medicine.

The device delivers electronic pulses to damaged nerves and these electronic pulses speed up the healing process. It stays in the nerves and keep speeding up the nerve regeneration for 1 to 2 weeks. After that, it disolves and disappears into the body. This way, there is no need for another surgery to remove it or have a permanent implant in the body.
