Sportz Titanium

This was a fun find - I had no idea there was something like this before! I've taken for granted that I hear music through, well, my ears, but at AfterShokz, they've created a new kind of headphone technology that sends vibrations through the cheekbones that reach the inner ears using bone conduction technology. Now that's a sweet pitch.

Note the placement of the "ear" phones on the models in the pictures - they don't plug into the ears, they go on top of the cheekbones!

This means that you don't need to plug in to your outer ears so that they can be more aware of sounds and noises from the immediate, outside environment. So if you're hiking or biking especially somewhere more remote, you can be more prepared to react to say sudden cars (or bears?) that appear behind you.

The headphones also have features that would be great on any kind of earphones as well - sweat resistant, 12 hour battery charge, a sturdy headphone design, and a headband that provides night visibility. I certainly look forward to trying them out when I get the chance!
