Play offline or online but no game will be same as before because the AI is very intelligent depending on the difficulty and adapts to your plays! The online campaign feature is brilliant too, be smart with who you forge alliances as your closest ally could be your doom. Choose smart trading partners as you need gold to develop and to sustain your empire!
