Yeah, of course, a startup from a Vietnamese guy called Tran Minh Tien has found a solution to this problem, GRASS STRAWS.

These Grass Straws are made from the sedge grass that grows wild across the Mekong Delta.

The green grass straws can stay fresh up to 2 weeks where the dried grass straws can be stored at room temperature for up to 6 months.

A dry straw is sold for 4.3 cents and a fresh one for 2.6 cents.
