GINAbot

GINAbot is a discord bot from @neander-squirrel that notifies you when certain events occur. You will receive the notification as a discord message. GINAbot is 100% free to use, quick and easy to set up and a powerful tool for any Steemian.

I have configured GINAbot so that I will be notified in case of a resteem. Besides that I have enabled notifications when certain Steemians publish a new article. I won't give you the hole list, but one of the Steemians on my list is @afrog. :)

I would like to highlight the configuration "Word Watch". This is a powerful tool if you want to position yourself in a specific niche on Steemit. You will be notified immediately if the word you entered appears in an article. You can then react immediately and take part in a debate on this topic.

I would also like to highlight the configuration "New Posts with a specific tag". Especially for initiators of a contest on the Steem blockchain it makes sense to monitor certain tags.

• Transfers to and from you
• Inbound, Outbound, and Return of Delegation
• Mention of specific user (you or someone else)
• Resteems
• Follow
• Votes for you, upvotes, downvotes, canceled vote
• New Post from a specific user(s)
• Word Watch
• New Posts with a specific tag
• Witness approval or disapprove votes
• Witness Missed Blocks

Currently there is an update of GINAbot in the pileline, which is only available as beta version. So you can look forward to new ways to configure your automated notifications.
