When loading the app you can select several options, from opening an existing file to a new one, who are familiar with Photoshop will not have problems here. Something to keep in mind is that Pixlr works with Flash, so you must have activated the plugin in your browser.

Already within the interface, we can see the great resemblance to the Adobe program, so you will not have problems adapting to it. Obviously it has its limitations in terms of options, but if you want to do a quick edit online or you do not have your computer at hand, it will be very useful.

Even some Photoshop commands also work with Pixlr Editor, but sometimes you will have to click on the corresponding options because these commands will match those of the browser and will not respond properly.

When saving the files we can even do it in layers in a PXD format (Pixlr with layers). And yes, it is possible to open the Photoshop PSD files, but the layers will open as images, without the editing options that you could have been using in the PC program.
