Wafer Messenger

With a plethora of chat applications already out there such as Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber, and Telegram, you might wonder why a new chat application would even be relevant in today's market. Instead of avoiding this challenge, Wafer embraces it.

Wafer is a chat app that allows you to use your contacts and send simple text messages, which will allow them to see your message on Wafer - even if they don't have the app installed. As long as your recipient has web access - you can communicate via the app.

You can use up to six types of media in a creative manner as it incorporates a few stickers, Snapchat & Instagram functionality into your messages. Draw, take pictures - all the possibilities you can think of are possible. There's also high-quality voice calling.

You can build on top of older messages, to create a 'Wafer' of layers, hence the name. It's a cool feature that I'd to see incorporated in more apps as well.

In line of the recent privacy scandals and the GDPR law, the creators of the app also don't use any of the data and messages are sent encrypted. Sent messages can also be deleted.
