Tasteem

Millions of people search for nearby restaurants and spend their time on viewing photos to discover new places. “Yelp” and “Foursquare” are well-known platforms where people can get recommendations and find places to go. However, it comes a problem when people try to get rewarded by contributing their contents.

We as Steemians, do not like the idea that the big companies behind control and curate the contents.

Contents are much more important today, and the big companies use our data to make their profit. Today, we are seeing the new world in decentralized way so anyone involved with should get rewarded.

What is Tasteem?

It is a restaurant recommendation platform which helps people to find local places to eat out. Anyone who loves food can share and view their favorite restaurants and upvote in their taste. Also, people can follow and connect with others who have similar food tastes and personalities.

“Tasteem” suggests different types of themes to give a general ideas of what to post. For example,

• “Best brunch spot for lazy Sunday morning”
• “Romantic restaurant to impress a date”

The beta version has been released and I dare you to check it out through here. It only supports Korean now but I hope English version will come out soon!
