i've been wanting to get in growing my own food/herbs/mint etc for the longest time and to be honest i kept hitting a road block because there is nothing normally for the low end 'food hacker' without resorting to some kinda pre-build startup vision (i.e expensive) but now that might be all change after the new board from upsilon.

pretty damn sweet and it looks fairly straight forward to wire up too, i've always loved the reliability and build quality of the raspberry pi boards and at least we know they don't suffer any heartbleed style attacks -- i want, for christmas please! :)
