i've been doing some research recently in both gps tracking and 2g/2/4g cellular add on HATS for raspberry pi's -- mainly in the hope of building out something that i can use a backup that's completely independant of what i use for connection -- think of it like a standalone system for uploading cctv images or live streams to the web -- dedicated box with solar panel, cellular and usb so i can stick my cameras all into it and deploy easily into different places if i need too.

i think pinout will come in very useful and well enable me to discover the right kit i need to get the job done -- that's the wonderful thing about raspberry pi technology it's normally very cheap to deploy something uniquely powerful.
