so this is a nice little news/culture site that wetransfer made for presenting stories about some of the creatives that actually use the site for sending content -- seeing as 75% of it's audience is creatives and their 'waiting' screens have already been seen by well over 40 million people it made sense to make the service.

WeTransfer is all about making creativity easier, for everyone. That's why we make beautifully obvious tools for every part of your creative process. We know that sometimes getting started is the hardest part, so WePresent, um, presents stories to get things going

such a neat idea from a service that did not NEED to make this and maybe only indirectly makes a little money from doing this -- that's smart business, using existing audience to talk to a potential future one.
