SmokeBot

Hey friends, today's hunt is one that will help to save many lives, it is called SmokeBot.

SmokeBot is a robot that maps smoke filled buildings and assists in guiding firefighters in burning/smokey buildings, mapping safe paths in the buildings and to the exits.

SmokeBot uses Radar, Thermal Vision and a LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) unit to guide it's way through smoke filled buildings to design maps so fire fighters know the layout of the building.

SmokeBot is additionally equipped with high-bandwidth gas sensors, which are capable of detecting the type, temperature and concentration of gases present in the building. Using this data, it's able to warn firefighters if there is the risk of an explosion.
