Codota is an AI pair programmer that learns from code all over the internet to help you build software faster and smarter.

Running alongside your IDE, it suggests relevant code. These suggestions save you time searching for references and help prevent errors.

The creators made sure your code stays private by extracting an anonymized summary of the IDE scope. It doesn't access any other files in your codebase or any other resources on your computer.

Currently, Codota supports Java & Scala only but there are plans for JavaScript as well. The supported IDEs are IntelliJ (14 and later) and Android Studio. You can run it on either macOS, Windows or Linux operating systems.

The company also offers paid services if you want Codota to learn from your code only.

Even though many IDEs make a very good job of code suggestions, Codota takes this a step further
