Among the renewable energies, the wind energy it's an important place. However, the oldschool windturbine-model with vertical axis have more disadvantages. Need more place, need more skill, and need lot of money. And if a stricter country you live in, need more permissions, paperwork, fee. And the most important part: during operation, should be a minimum wind strength.

In the case of RB1, with extremely clever solutions eliminated the disadvantages:

• horizontal axis, combined with lift effect on rooftop: lesser windspeed is enough, because the wind speed around the ridge can be just over three times the actual wind speed
• compact and lightweight design, so don't need highly skilled experts for installation
• quiet: you can use it in center of domestic areas
• almost blend with the roof plane in, so it have just a small visual impact

I decided, when we renovate our house, i want one to on our roof.
