Teslasuit

Let's you feel what your in-game avatar experiences!

CHECK IT OUT

Teslasuit takes another step closer in bringing the Virtual reality technology closer to the experience of the real world by adding a tactile dimension to gaming.

What is a Teslasuit?

Simply put Teslasuit (developed by Tesla studios) allows the wearer of the suit to experience physical sensations along the body by using mild electric pulses as they play and interact within virtual worlds.

This includes feeling the sensation of touch, pain (punch, bullet), pressure (wind), hot&cold etc. All sensations are designed for the human body's tolerance level. You won't get killed by getting hit by a bullet for example :)

How it works?

The graphics are converted in the form of electric signals which give stimulation to your body muscles giving you the same feel as if someone is touching you. All kids of different sensations can be felt through the suit.

Other features

  • The suit has motion sensors that stimulate the muscles in same way the avatar in the VR environment is experiencing.
  • The suit allows multiple users to connect together with each other and play in real-time remotely and wirelessly.

2 Editions

Teslasuit comes in two editions. The Pioneer (said to be around 1199 £) has 16 channels and The Prodigy (said to be around 2099 £) has 52 channels which allow for a wider range of sensations.

It's currently only sold to developers. It's expected to be available to the masses by the end of the year.
