Stromer ST-5

Let's go with that, 850-WATT SYNO SPORT MOTOR. ...

firstly let me put this out there by saying i know it's the price of a really good motorbike or small car -- i know that, heck it's $10,000 so it's a really expensive bike and you are NOT i repeat NOT gonna let this out of your sight or chain it up outside.

if there is one thing about the SWISS that i know is that they make really damn good chocolate and they love to be as precise as the germans, just something about the particular details of a swiss viewpoint -- and that really shows up in the Stromer ST-5.

Of course stromer make other electric bikes in the range but their latest is a BEAST, 10k of pure luxury and most importantly SPEED with their brand new SPORT mode -- yes, an e-bike with a sport mode ready to you on them super fast rides.

looking at the bike front and side on you can see how much engineering love has been put into this thing, the lines are stunning and would not look out of place in some kind of futuristic tron legacy type film or blade runner future dystopia.

so then, let's look at some bad boy bullet points on this bike. .

• 850 W (1.1 hp) of continuous power (with burst mode taking a lot over that for short bursts)
• 48-volt battery packs give a range 180 km (112 mi) or probably about 30/35 miles if your are full on SPORTING!
• top speed is limited at 28mph (but i'm sure you'll have that thing hacked sooner or later, it MUST have an easter egg somewhere in that software!)

one of the sweet features is that it auto unlocks, like a keyless car system when in range of the application and it has an easy to pop out battery cartridge that looks beefy and invisible when installed on the bike as it's part of the frame (stunning)

i realise it's a pretty expensive bike but if you were really looking to get rid of the car, only travelled small distances and could safely secure this while doing your local shopping or school runs then i think this beast could well and truly cover all your transportation needs, just make sure you get it insured ok? :)
