The A12B is a single stage preamp that is roughly based on the American designs which is considered as classic. This product has a Cinemag CMOQ-2S output transformer, and also the upgraded version of API2520, a discrete op-amp circuit.
The A12B has a delivering sound which is excellent on electric guitars and also drums. The mid-range is outstanding and the transformer coloration is pronounced.
