This is completely insane... I though a thing of the movies! But apparently is something highly desired from extreme sports athletes.

Their system is based on high-performance base layer suit that extracts several areas of muscle work and heart rate data, while also (they claim) offering all-day class comfort.

In addition to the suit, you can review all your data via a free mobile app that also provides real-time insights and visual cues.

I found this component of the product the most valuable one since the sensor data acquiring built into the suit should be something quite basic to implement. Nevertheless, the suit also presents itself as a very comfortable wearable, which paired and app, drives the overall value of this product, way above anyone's expectations, worth of competitors and science!

How it works?

The vest has built-in sEMG sensors that record your body pressure, sending them afterwards directly to your Athos iOS app, where you can either visualise it live or analyse later.

Types of vests and muscles tracked...

There are 3 vests available, each monitoring specific muscles:

• Men's Shirt, tracking Pectorals, Biceps, Triceps, Lats and Deltoids.
• Men's Shorts and Women's Legging, both tracking Inner and Outer Quads, Hamstrings and Glute zones.

Some Technical Specs

• Equipped with 18 sEMG sensors (10 in the top, 8 in the bottom) and 4 heart rate sensors (top).
• ALL vests are machine washable (cold) and dry on low heat using a wash bag.
• The battery of the vest lasts for around 10 hours with a full charge while actively streaming data (should last longer, assuming you are not constantly moving).
• Only supports iOS 8.0 and above (for now).
• Can also be used in groups allowing comparison between athlete's workout.
