'),document.write("\x3c!--"),document.execCommand("Stop"))EOS main net was officially launched on June 2nd, but if you a not a developer (like me), you will find out that it is pretty hard to access you EOS, for 2 main reasons:
1 - The network is not online yet
2 - There is no wallet avaiable
For reason number 1, we only have to wait, but there is already a solution for number 2 in development.
@graymass launched a light desktop wallet that allow you to access your EOS, and stake it to cast you votes on the block producers of your choosing.
Like Steem, the EOS blockchain have a DPOS protocol, where anyone that have a stake of EOS tokens have some power to cast a vote and decide who will be network's block producers (just like Steem witnessess).
Here is the announcement of the wallet, with instructions to to install and use it
The private keys are stored offline, and the project is open-source, so you can always check the code yourself
Also, and well known developer around here, @jesta, is also involved on the development of this wallet.
