Advantages of RSS feeds

The advantages of RSS feeds or reading content in an RSS reader are manifold. You can track dozens of sources on a specific topic from a central location & the focus here is clearly on the content.

No distraction by colorful sidebars or "popups" and no advertising can be found in the RSS feeds. In my opinion, RSS readers are still the tool of choice if you want to keep an eye on many sources.
