Why Epiphone decide to made a reissue of the J-200? The reason are really clear. The J-200 was a deeper, more balanced and powerful acoustic instrument that could project over stages and radio, because is "bigger and bolder than any previous design, and gave artists in the new American music scene of the ‘30s an instrument capable of projecting well beyond that of any other acoustic on the market—a fact that still holds true today."

As you can see, the dimension are bigger than traditional acoustic guitars. At the same time the binding and material are really good, and the construction is amazing.
If you choose the sister of Ej-200, the EJ200CE, you also have a acoustic preamp. This one is really good, and allow you to choose between two piezo, the eq, and the balance of both. Amazing option imho.

The sound is deep, full of bass and middle frequencies. I really love it.
I bought before a Fender Sonoran, but i think this EJ200 is better all way up.

I strongly recommend this guitar, because is cheap, but sounds good. Really good
