Mobility

But, make no mistake, this is not an "under the arm" surfboard! This one will need a trolley... at least for me. Even if you remove the battery it might be hard for most to carry. On the other side, it's weight adds extra stability to most situations inside and outside water.

Supreme duty

These batteries are no small bunnies. When you are powering a 10kW engine and saying it would last up to 45 minutes, believe me... its not an average battery. That's why it takes 2 hours to charge it (and probably on a very high current charger). So, if you are looking for endless joy, the best would be for you to buy another battery and enjoy the extended ride by coming back from the ocean for a quick swap.

It's not cheap yes... But they are the second fastest product on the market (and a very good one in my view). The price of this beauty is "per-request" usually, but doing a bit of research, I have found evidence of something around or above 20,000 USD! Might depend on how many you want to order, LOL... 🤣

My review

All around I see this as an extreme product. Made for intermediate competitors and/or enthusiasts that can support the price level. But since you do not have another way to enjoy the same kind of product, it makes this a luxurious and unique item desired by many. I would much prefer a waterbike (for the same price), but if someone would send me one for a trial, I am sure that I would never give it back!

And I am guessing what are the next steps for these kinds of products: Higher power, longer battery life, and lighter bodies!
