If you are a trader, an investor, or in any way involved in stock, options, futures markets then you should definitely consider using Thinkorsim. It is an advanced trading platform by TD Ameritrade. You don't actually need to invest. This powerful app can be used for free without trading or investing at all.

What the app provides is powerful. It has desktop and mobile apps. Users can see real-time charts that are customizable and easy to use. 1000 characters is not enough to go through all of the awesome features. Some of the most important and super useful ones are charts, depth (level 2), profile, news, stock options charts.

Level 2, is an important information, that normally is available for pay apps and services. What level 2 does is it lists the currently placed bid and ask orders. These are not your total bid/ask orders. I suggest reading up on Level 2 if you are not familiar with it yet.

Overall, if you a day or swing trader Thinkorswim is a must have tool.
